Helping those in need

Uganda is a lush country, and the access to water trough wells is an easy task, and very much needed. Especially during dry seasons, which can be for long periods at a time. By having our own well we will be able to secure water close by even during this periods, and we can go on doing our daily tasks without struggling....

The clima in Uganda is great for farming, and most plants give fruits at least two times a year. A large area will be used for farming, with a variety of fruits and vegetables. This will also give the orphans an opportunity to learn how to keep their own land, so when they grow up and move out they will...

There is a huge need for Safe HAVENS for orphans in Uganda. Many of them are living in the streets and taking care of themselves and even younger siblings.

Live stock is a great asset to the orphanage. With our own animals we can provide oversell with milk, eggs and meat throughout the year.

Due to COVID19 we are delayed in our building prosess. At the same time there is a growing need for helping the most vulnerable children. We have therefore decided to shelter the first children in another house of ours in Kiwoko, to be able to care for them until the orphanage is build.

Helping Hands Initiativ is a small business startet by 11 vulnerable, yet strong and dedicated, Ugandan women.
